Paper-covered child’s dome top trunk (26” wide x 16 1/4” high
x 14 ½” deep) in exceptional condition outside and very good condition
inside. Wooden ribs, paper covering, leather handles and hardware all intact
and in good condition. The bottom has small inset wheels.
Inside this trunk features a paper-covered tray insert, a lift-top compartment
with tin latch, and a colored paper picture of lovely Victorian Lady on the inside
lid. Small hole in the insert, some staining and very minor paper damage inside.
Rare to find the combination of (1) a child’s trunk; (2) a very nice insert
completely intact; and (3) in such exceptional condition. Truly a great find!
