Two-piece cast iron toy horse drawn pumper and front carriage with team of two
horses (15" long by 5" high). Unsigned, but it is definitely old; not
a recent reproduction.
The pumper is unpainted cast iron. Traces of original red paint remain on the
spokes of the pumper wheels. One cast iron horse is painted black; and the other
is unpainted cast iron. The front carriage, wheels and drawing pole have the
original red paint with great color.
Light surface rusting on unpainted pumper and unpainted horse. Surface rust can
also be seen inside the pumper from underneath. The driver and reins are missing.
There is play in the small single wheel in front under the team of horses, but
it does not come off the shaft. The wheels on both the front carriage and the
pumper are firmly attached with very little play.
The pictures speak for themselves: Great old red paint; great cast iron horses
with good definition; pretty good condition for its age.
