Early country rocker is moderately sized (15” floor to seat and 36” floor to finial), and is in great condition with a beautiful golden brown patina. It is light weight but very sturdy, so it is probably pine. Not just a decorative piece, but still very serviceable for its intended use. Nice woven splint wicker seat with dark brown highlights. Small wicker break by left rear post is hardly noticeable, and seat is solid.
