This wonderful Handwerch doll with bisque socket head and wood and composition jointed body is 17" tall. Marking on back of head states: "Heinrich Handwerch Halbig 0 ½". She has open mouth with four upper teeth and a lovely molded painted mouth. Her eyes are brown glass sleep eyes with some paint loss showing when eyes are closed. Her lashes and brows are painted. Her wig is black and appears to be human hair and her ears are pierced. Her body is fully ball jointed, including elbows and wrists except her feet which are not jointed. She is missing small amounts of composition on one side of one foot and around the socket area where her leg and body join. Truly a wonderful Handwerch doll.
